In our last post, we talked about the Frequencies of Heaven. We’ve established the difference between hearing and listening and we also see that if we are to know what God is saying then we must be connected at all times.
Clarity – the quality of being clear, in particular
Everybody has a desire to do something great in life and at many times in our lives, we will go into different arenas. Before doing that, we must discern over who called us. When you communicate with various people, it’s wise to confirm what the person has said or if you think someone called you, find out whether that person called you. When you go through life following the wrong counsel, you will no doubt be confused. Confirm your calling…………
Let’s take a look at a young boy called Samuel.
1 Samuel 3 – Now the boy Samuel ministered to the Lord before Eli. The word of the Lord was rare and precious in those days; there was no frequent or widely spread vision.
At that time Eli, whose eyesight had dimmed so that he could not see, was lying down in his own place. The lamp of God had not yet gone out in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was lying down
When the Lord called, Samuel! And he answered, Here I am.
He ran to Eli and said, Here I am, for you called me. Eli said “I did not call you; lie down again. So he went and lay down.
And the Lord called again, Samuel! And Samuel arose and went to Eli and said, Here am I; you did call me. Eli answered, I did not call, my son; lie down again.
Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, and the word of the Lord was not yet revealed to him.
And the Lord called Samuel the third time. And he went to Eli and said, Here I am, for you did call me. Then Eli perceived that the Lord was calling the boy.
So Eli said to Samuel, Go, lie down. And if He calls you, you shall say, Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
And the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, Samuel! Samuel! Then Samuel answered, Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.
God called Samuel the first time but he didn’t recognise the voice so he went to Eli who told him that it wasn’t him who called so he should go back and wait and when he calls again, answer and say ‘Speak Lord, your servant is listening’. The most dangerous place to be is around people who don’t know the voice of God. It’s very possible that you may miss it.
A key to receiving information is to gain clarity over what was said. A lot of time we fail to claim what is ours because of our inability to clarify over what was said to us. A lot of times we speak to people, they tell us things but because we fail to clarify what was said, we end up being confused.
In a world when there are many voices, gain clarity over who said what. When you know the voice, will be able to gain clarity over what they said. When God calls you, confirm your calling……………..
Ephesians 1:17-18 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints
Don’t miss your calling because you listened to the wrong voice.
